Rev. William Carl and Pauline Gardner started the church in November 1962 in Washington, DC in a Masonic Lodge building on Minnesota and Pennsylvania Avenue.
Bishop Herbert and Sis. Joann Reynolds assumed pastorate in July 1967 (still held services in the Lodge building in DC). Attendance averaged 20 to 25 on a Sunday.
The Church relocated to Clinton, MD in 1968.
In April 1976, a new church facility was completed (constructed primarily by Church members' donated labor). It was dedicated in a special service by Rev. J.T. Pugh, General Home Missions Director of the United Pentecostal Church, Int'l., St. Louis, MO.
Our name was changed to Grace Gospel Worship Center, Inc., in 2005.
Pastor Alan H. and Sis. Tammy Reynolds assumed the pastorate in 2005 and continue to lead the church today as the will of God leads them.
